Hope for the New Year

Well, it's the last day of 2008, an end of another journey. The human condition is fascinating as our species is unique because we have hope. New Year's eve is a time for all of us to reflect but also to make promises for the future. We all know that resolutions seldom stick....it doesn't always mean that we're lazy or weak. You may assume what my resolution for this year will be, based on the continuing theme of this blog. Although it has been to lose weight many times before, it is not this year (and I believe for the last two it has been to floss more consistently). I would like to work on the other aspects of me this year and will resolve to come up with a plan to do so.

As for the weight, well it is up again this week. I don't feel like sharing numbers even though I know what they are. My double chin has met up again with her gold old friends face and big cheeks and the fact that I will only wear sweat pants every day for almost two straight weeks means.....well, you know. I have not exercised...period! I still have lots of hope.

I wish you all A Happy, Healthy and Hopeful 2009!

A new Year a fresh start -don't look back look at the future one day at a time and whatever the future brings is what it's meant to be to coin the words of a song"Don't worry-be Happy!!!"
Love you now and always!!!!
