I can see the light!

Good evening. One day late on the blog and weigh in. Figured I would wait til this morning's physical since they force me onto the scale each time even though I pray they'll forget. According to their scale, I'm one pound less than last week. Didn't weigh in at home yesterday, as I felt I partook in some "comfort foods" on the day of my LASIK. Was worried about the outcome even though I don't think I went hog wild! I hope you don't consider this one pound on someone else's scale cheating, but, I'm counting it, any bit counts!

LASIK went great. I'm officially seeing 20/20 and feeling better each day. Thanks for all the well wishes. The physical went so..so... Doc was happy with the loss of lbs. and some other stuff. Other things did not improve, so I'm one of many millions of Americans who will be on Lipitor. My sugar has improved a bit...I've been downgraded from Syndrome X to Syndrome W, I guess.

Janet, I will be claiming my back tickling from Hannah (she pimped out her own daughter!) and our walk all the way to Starbucks. Name the day!

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I need to get back to the old exercise routine next week again. It's a slippery slope!

The NYT had an article recently (which of course I couldn't find this morning) about the benefits of exercise. The article stated that exercise helps every possible ailment you can have, back pain, pms, illness, muscle pain, insomnia, possibly depression, and many other things that I don't have the time to name. If you are exercising, you simply will be healthier and feel better. Plus, Ryan and Gabe are getting such a good role model!
You stay on that wagon, Missy, you are doing great.
